Great lighting design disappears — you notice a room feels right without knowing why. Bad lighting design is a wall of switches nobody understands and a shade panel gathering dust. The difference is not the brand of dimmer. It is whether someone designed the control scheme, the scenes, and the shades as one system before anything got installed.

We design Lutron lighting and motorized shade systems for homes and offices across NY and NJ. We are straight about the model: we do the design, the scenes, and the commissioning, and where a system needs factory certification a certified Lutron partner provides it. You get design discipline and certification under one coordinated plan, instead of a lighting vendor and an AV vendor blaming each other when a keypad does the wrong thing.

What we design

Lighting control. Caséta Pro for smaller projects, RadioRA 3 for whole-home retrofits and mid-size builds, and HomeWorks QSX for the most demanding integrations — with keypad layouts, engraving, and scenes coordinated with your architect or interior designer. Tunable-white and circadian scenes where the project calls for it.

Motorized shades and blinds. Lutron Sivoia QS — roller, roman, and drapery — with the right fabric and drive for each opening, designed to move with the lighting scenes rather than as a separate afterthought. Morning, evening, and movie mode all behave in one tap.

The documentation. Load schedules, one-line diagrams, keypad schedules, and as-built drawings — the paperwork that lets the certified partner program it right and lets the next person who touches it understand what is there.

Design and award — how it works

1. Design. We work from the architecture, the furniture plan, and how you actually live in or use the space. Out comes a control scheme, scene list, keypad plan, shade schedule, and drawings.
2. Award. We turn the design into a clean scope, and help you award the install to a qualified team — with us and the certified Lutron partner making sure what gets built matches what was designed.
3. Commission. Scenes tuned on site, keypads labeled, and a walkthrough so you or your facilities team can actually run it. Then it is documented and handed over.

Why us instead of a standalone lighting shop

A lighting-only vendor designs the lights and leaves. The reason the “smart” part of most homes and offices fails is that nobody owned the seams — the lighting, the shades, the AV, the network, and the control were five vendors on five schedules.

We design the lighting and shades alongside the AV, the network, and the cabling — one team, one plan, one accountable phone number when something needs a tweak. When we run a whole space as a design-build, the lighting design lands with everything else instead of being retrofitted after the drywall is up.
