Business Internet & Connectivity
Carrier-neutral business internet and connectivity for NY/NJ. We quote and source ISP circuits — fiber, coax, fixed wireless, and dedicated internet — across hundreds of carriers by address, design SD-WAN and automatic failover, and manage the whole thing.
Written quote in 48 hours on every project — and managed clients get our published SLA: 14-min average response, 30-day out clause.
What's included
- Multi-carrier ISP quoting by address — fiber, cable/coax, fixed wireless, and dedicated internet access (DIA)
- Real-time pricing from hundreds of carriers (Verizon, Spectrum, Optimum, AT&T, Comcast Business, Lumen, and more)
- SD-WAN design and deployment across single and multi-site networks
- Automatic failover — dual-WAN with a second ISP or 5G/LTE so a single carrier outage doesn't take the office offline
- Circuit procurement, install scheduling, and carrier escalation handled for you
- MPLS and private point-to-point links for multi-site and low-latency needs
- Business wireless and mobility — cellular backup, fixed wireless, IoT SIMs
- POTS-line replacement for alarms, elevators, fax, and gate lines as copper retires
- Bandwidth and contract audits — we find over-provisioned or overpriced circuits and fix them
- One advocate to call when a circuit goes down, instead of a carrier hold queue
One advocate for every wire into your building
Most businesses buy internet the hard way: call Verizon, call Spectrum, call Optimum, get three sales reps, three prices, and three stories about what actually serves the address. Then when the circuit goes down, you are the one on hold.
We do it differently. Sage is a carrier-neutral connectivity advisor. We are not a single ISP trying to sell you our own pipe — we quote hundreds of them, source the right one, and stay on as your advocate. Because we also run your network and your phones, the circuit we put in actually works with the rest of your stack instead of fighting it.
What we source
Business internet — fiber, cable/coax, fixed wireless, and dedicated internet access (DIA) with guaranteed symmetric speeds and an SLA. We quote every provider that reaches your building, not just the one whose truck you saw on the block.
SD-WAN — for multi-site businesses that want to bond circuits, fail over automatically, and prioritize voice and critical apps across every location from one dashboard.
Failover and redundancy — a second ISP or 5G/LTE connection behind an automatic cutover, so a single carrier outage does not take down your phones, your card processing, or your team.
MPLS and private links — point-to-point and low-latency connectivity for businesses that need sites to talk to each other privately.
Wireless and mobility — business cellular, fixed-wireless backup, and IoT SIMs for the equipment that needs its own connection.
POTS-line replacement — managed devices that keep alarms, elevators, fax, and gate lines working as the carriers retire copper.
How the quote works — fast
Give us the address. We run it through the same carrier databases the big advisors use (via Telarus and AppDirect, two of the country’s largest technology-services distributors) and pull live pricing from every provider that serves the building. You get one clean comparison — speeds, terms, install timelines, real monthly cost — usually the same day. No sales-call gauntlet.
Why route it through us instead of calling carriers direct
- It usually costs you nothing extra. Carriers pay advisors out of their own margin. You get the quotes, the negotiation, and an advocate at the carrier’s price — frequently better than the retail website, because we know what a building will really support and what a rep can really do.
- One comparison, not five sales calls. We pull every serving carrier at once. You see them side by side.
- One throat to choke. When a circuit degrades, you call us, not a carrier hold queue. We open the ticket, ride the escalation, and keep you posted.
- It works with your stack. We design the failover, tune the network for VoIP, and monitor the circuit in the same managed-IT system as everything else.
- We audit what you already pay. Most businesses are over-provisioned, out of contract, or still paying for copper lines nobody uses. We find it and fix it.
The copper sunset
The carriers are shutting off plain old copper phone lines, and the price of whatever is left is climbing fast. That copper is often doing quiet, critical work — the elevator phone, the fire-alarm dialer, the fax line, the gate call box. We inventory every copper line you still pay for (most businesses undercount their own), then replace the ones that matter with managed POTS-replacement devices so the copper sunset doesn’t strand a life-safety system.
Pair it with the rest of the stack
Connectivity is the foundation everything else runs on. The same team should quote your internet, design the network and Wi-Fi it feeds, deploy your VoIP phones, and support all of it under one managed-IT agreement. One vendor, one bill to reason about, one number to call when something upstream breaks.
Start the quote yourself with the address form below — we will have serving carriers and live pricing back to you, usually the same day.
Get carrier pricing for your address.
Drop in your address and we run it through the same multi-carrier databases the big advisors use — every ISP that serves your building, side by side. A real comparison lands in your inbox, usually the same business day.
- 1. You give us the address and what you need.
- 2. We pull live pricing from every serving carrier.
- 3. You get one honest comparison — speeds, terms, real monthly cost.
No obligation, and the quote costs you nothing — carriers compensate advisors out of their own margin.
From our installs
Business Internet & Connectivity — questions we get
Do you actually sell internet, or just recommend it?
We are a carrier-neutral technology advisor. Through two of the largest technology-services distributors in the country — Telarus and AppDirect — we pull live pricing from hundreds of carriers, quote your building, procure the circuit, and manage the order, install, and any escalation. The circuit is billed by the carrier; we are your advocate on top of it. We are not a single carrier trying to sell you our own pipe.
What does this cost us?
Usually nothing extra. Carriers compensate advisors like us out of their own margin, so you get the multi-carrier quotes, the negotiation, and an advocate at the carrier's price — often better than calling them yourself, because we know which carriers actually serve your building and what they will really charge once you get past the retail website.
How fast can you get me a quote?
Same day for most addresses. We run your building through the carrier databases and pull live pricing for every provider that serves it, so you get one apples-to-apples comparison instead of three separate sales calls and three different stories.
We have offices in multiple states — can you handle that?
Yes. The distributor tools we use quote up to roughly 1,000 locations at once, so a multi-site rollout gets one comparison, one project plan, and one point of contact — not a different account rep in every market.
Can you get us off a carrier we are unhappy with?
We can quote every alternative that serves your address and run the cutover. We keep the old circuit live in parallel until the new one is installed and tested — the same careful cut-over we use for phone number porting — so you are never offline during the switch.
What about internet and phones together?
That is exactly why you want one team. VoIP call quality lives or dies on your circuit and your local network. We quote the internet, design the failover, run the LAN and Wi-Fi, and deploy the [phones](/services/voip/) — so when a call drops, there is no finger-pointing between the ISP, the network guy, and the phone vendor. It is all us.
Do you do SD-WAN?
Yes — for businesses that want to bond or fail over between circuits, prioritize voice and critical apps, and manage multiple sites from one place. We design it, deploy it, and monitor it in the same RMM as the rest of your stack, so a degraded circuit is an alert we see before you do.
The phone company says our copper lines are going away. What do we do?
Carriers are retiring POTS (plain copper) lines and the prices on what is left are spiking. We replace them with managed POTS-replacement devices for alarms, elevators, fax, and gate lines, so the copper sunset does not strand a life-safety system. We inventory every copper line you have first, because most businesses do not know how many they are still paying for.
